Manage Uploaded Files Page
| With a Silver Account files uploaded to the server can be no bigger than 2 GB. Music files (.mp3) are typically around 4 MB per song. Photos from your digital camera (.jpg) are typically around 2 MB per picture. |
| With a Silver Account your uploaded file storage space on the server is 50 GB. |
| A Silver Account can have each file downloaded 20 times in one hour. The recipient will receive a message to try again in a few minutes if a file has been downloaded 20 times in the last 60 minutes. We limit the number of times a file can be downloaded per hour to prevent abuse. |
| With a Silver Account each file can be downloaded by your recipients unlimited times total.
| When you upload a file for delivery you can have an email sent to the intended recipients which includes a link to download the file. A Silver Account lets you email up to 10 people at a time.
| When you upload files to the server you can specify more than one file. A Silver Account allows you to select up to 30 files to be sent at once. The recepient can either download each file individually or as an automatically created zip file.
| A Silver Account uses an encryption communications protocol called SSL to ensure that your files are secure as they are sent over the Internet. This is the same type of protection e-commerce sites use to secure credit card transactions. When security is a must use SSL to deliver your files.
| With a Silver Account you have the option to assign a password to the files when you upload them. The recipient will be prompted for the password when they go to the Pickup Link.
| Normally a recipient goes to a TyphoonTools download page and enters a pickup number to retrieve a file. With a Silver Account you can also get a direct link to a file. A direct link is a web address (URL) that points directly to the file on the server. This is useful for delivering files like a web server. For example, you can post a picture to a message board that supports direct links.
